After purchasing, rehabbing, and managing a number of Multi-Unit Properties in the late 1990's, Duane Papetti realized that most realtors lacked the necessary information that a Landlord should have access to before investing in property. Before the internet made this information readily accessible, the only way to acquire it was for Duane to become a realtor himself. 

The experience Duane gained from refurbishing and managing these properties drew other people to ask for his help. 

In the early 2000's Duane continued to learn and grow, attaining his Broker’s and Unrestricted Construction Supervisor’s License, which in turn, he used to help more people learn about the buying and selling process. 

This Do-It-Yourself attitude propelled Duane to start A-1 Realty of Central Mass in 2010. In January of 2024, A-1 Realty of Central MA turned into A-1 Realty of MA LLC due to the expansion of sales throughout the State of MA. Using the knowledge he obtained through his decades of experience, Duane grew A-1 into a business that doesn’t just sell houses, but educates buyers and sellers about their potential investments.
